Law enforcement electroshock devices «MARCH» in Uzbekistan

On September 24, the news agency of Uzbekistan Podrobno.uz reported that a batch of stun guns had been received by the police department of the Republic. Shock batons and shocker pistols will be used by employees involved in patrol duty and ensuring public order.

The group of companies «MARCH GROUP» Ltd, in turn, informs about the successful completion of the first stage of the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A large batch of ESHU and firing cartridges «UTED» and «UTED» (type 01) was manufactured and delivered to the customer in full compliance with the contract.

It should be noted that earlier law enforcement officers of Uzbekistan were not armed with special electroshock equipment. Before the stun guns were delivered to the departments of the Internal Affairs Department of the Republic, a corresponding order of the Minister of Internal Affairs was adopted, and an instruction was developed and approved defining the procedure for the use of electric shock weapons by officers of the Internal Affairs Directorate. So, the use of shockers will be allowed only to employees who have undergone special training and received the appropriate certificate.
